holiday-hours-2018-winter.png Most Lethbridge College campus services will be closed from 4:30 p.m. Friday, Dec. 21 until the morning of Wednesday, Jan. 2. Exterior doors will be locked or open for reduced hours during the holiday period. Your best bet to access campus will be through the main college entrance of the Physical Education building.

  • The Food Court will reduce hours starting Dec. 10, with the Culinary Market closing at 3:30 p.m., instead of 4 p.m. Some counters will also be closed starting Dec. 14 when only the breakfast and buffet and Culinary Market will be open. The week of Dec. 17 through Dec. 21 and Jan. 2 through Jan. 4, only the Culinary Market will be open, but it will have a variety of breakfast and lunch menu items. All food services will be closed from 3:30 p.m. Dec. 21 through Jan. 1. Regular service resumes Jan. 7.

  • The Buchanan Library will be closed from 4:30 p.m. Dec. 21 until Jan. 2 when it reopens from 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. weekdays only. Regular evening and weekend hours resume the week of Jan. 14.

  • The Bookstore will close at 4:30 p.m., Dec. 21 and reopen at 8:30 a.m. Jan. 2. Students shopping for the Winter 2019 term can still order materials online.

  • The Registration Department will be closed after Dec. 21 but will reopen with extended hours starting Jan. 2 in advance of the start of the 2019 winter term. Jan. 2 through Jan. 14, the department will be open from 8 a.m .to 6 p.m. Monday through Thursday and 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Fridays. The Call Centre at 403-320-3323 will continue to be available Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

  • Our Career and Academic Advising team will be offering drop-in advising (no booked appointments) from Jan. 2 to Jan. 14. Hours are:

    • Jan. 2-4, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

    • Jan. 7-9, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

    • Jan. 10, 11 and 14, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Lethbridge College will close at end of day Friday for a holiday break, re-opening Tuesday, Jan. 2. During this time, Health Services and onsite Shepell Counselling will be closed from the end of day Dec. 21 until the morning of Jan. 2. Students and staff can still access support if they need at any time.

If you are not staying in Lethbridge for the holidays and you are unaware of the resources in the community, in Alberta you can call 811 to be connected with a health care provider who can identify resources in your area.
 

  • The Physical Education building will be closed Dec. 24, 25 and 26, and Jan. 1. Users of the fitness centre and other Recreation Services amenities will have the following hours:

    • Dec. 27 to 28 — 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.

    • Dec. 29 through Dec. 31 — 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.

    • Jan. 2  — regular hours resume.

  • The Val Matteotti Gymnasium is closed from Dec. 11 to Jan. 4.

  • The Grenville Print Centre will be closed from 4:30 p.m., Dec. 21 until Jan. 2 when regular hours resume, 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday.

  • Lethbridge College Students’ Association (LCSA) office will be closed starting from Monday Dec. 17 through Jan. 1, reopening Jan. 2.
