sheldon-kennedy-profile.jpg You are invited to the screening of the documentary Swift Current and a Q & A with former NHL player Sheldon Kennedy. Kennedy is best known for his courageous decision to charge his junior hockey league coach with sexual assault for the abuse he suffered over a five year period while a teenager under his care.

Research shows that one in three Canadians report experiencing some type of child abuse. By coming together and implementing innovative trauma-informed practices, we hope to empower those affected by abuse to lead healthy and productive lives.
