This two hour course delves deeper into the topic of suicide prevention, than our introductory QPR course. Attendees will grow more in depth skills to help them recognize a suicide crisis, interrupt it, and direct the person to appropriate care.
There is no pre-requisite for taking this course, however a shorter more introductory course, QPR, is also available on the Event Calendar.
Certificates of completion are provided upon completion of this course. Snacks will be offered. You may bring your lunch to enjoy during the class!
A free 2 hour workshop, open to anyone, to learn more about sexuality, gender, and 2SLGBTQIA+ identities and examine prejudice, assumptions, and privilege.
As the title is, this is a safe zone to learn, ask questions, and become a better ally as we all grow our knowledge together.
