Nominees must be Alberta residents and full-time students enrolled in the second year of either Law Enforcement or Criminal Justice. Recipients are nominated by the educational institutions they attend. Preference will be given to non-sponsored Indigenous students. This award is provided by the Alberta Solicitor General and Public Security and will be mailed from them directly to the student some months after notification.
