Hal Hoffman's Story
Hal Hoffman was born in Winnipeg, Manitoba in 1934. Hal was passionate about education and became an instructor at then Lethbridge Community College in 1964 until his retirement in 1991. He taught courses in auto and heavy equipment mechanics and welding. Hal was deeply committed to the LCC community and worked to enrich the lives of both his students and his fellow faculty members for whom he served as Faculty Association President.
Outside work, Hal was a fully engaged member of the Lethbridge community and volunteered his time in many different capacities including the Lethbridge Police Commission, the Rotary Club, Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, to name a few.
