At Lethbridge College, we are all about connecting and informing future Lethbridge College students with information about our industry-focused and hands-on programming.

Our team of post-secondary recruitment specialists spend much of their time bringing the college to you! We travel all over Canada to meet with and advise future and current students, and we also love meeting future and current students who come to explore campus.

Our Recruitment team will visit your high school, community event, career fair and/or employment agency to provide you with the necessary information to help you transition to Lethbridge College. We also invite you to visit us on-campus to explore the many possibilities that are available to you at Lethbridge College:

  • Student for a Day: October, November, February and March
  • Campus tours: Monday – Friday, 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. daily and Saturdays at 1 p.m. (please book in advance)
  • College Cruisin’ (tours for high school teachers and counsellors)
  • Special activities and events (Open House, Junior and Senior High School Appreciation Night, Street Team)

Student for a Day

Future Lethbridge College students

Curious about what it’s like to be a Lethbridge College student? Our Student for a Day program is available to anyone considering post-secondary education, or anyone who wishes to experience first-hand the day in the life of a Lethbridge College student.

Prospective students will spend a day with a current student from the program of their choice. You’ll spend the day attending classes, labs and experiencing campus life. We’ll even buy you lunch. It could take up to two weeks to schedule your visit, so register online today: www.lethbridgecollege.ca/student-for-a-day.

Hosts needed!

If you are a current Lethbridge College student who is interested in hosting a Student for a Day, not only will you have a positive influence on someone’s life, but you’ll get a free lunch and a reference letter for volunteering.

If you are looking for a quicker glimpse of campus, we are happy to offer you a campus tour. You’ll learn the ins and outs of college life and see our classrooms, labs and the library, as well as places for students to live, hang out and get involved. Book your campus tour online today!

College Cruisin’

Calling all teachers and counsellors! You and your students are invited to test drive your choice of over 50 programs and services at Lethbridge College. Create your own personalized-road map of interactive program areas you would like to visit and experience first-hand the practical, hands-on learning education that we offer. And what’s a road trip without great food? We’ll treat you to a gourmet lunch courtesy of our world-class culinary program.

When the tour is launched, you can “wander” throughout campus, with most major areas available in the tour. A drop-down menu also makes it easy to choose a location and jump to a wide variety of college locations. From the renowned Hubbard Collection, to the new trades and technologies facility, to the offices of the fun-loving Lethbridge College Students’ Association, there is plenty to explore.

Open House

Our faculty, staff and volunteers are here to help you test drive Lethbridge College and experience first-hand why Lethbridge College is the post-secondary institution for you. At our open house, you can:

  • Experience the hands-on environment that gives students the leading edge in industry.
  • Take a tour of the campus.
  • Speak with a faculty member or a representative from your academic area of interest.
  • Explore our wide range of academic programs, student services, and student activities and organizations.
  • Visit interactive program areas.
  • Apply on the spot.

This event is held in October and February each year.

Junior and Senior High School Appreciation Night

Join us twice each year on the Kodiaks’ home turf for a junior and senior high school student volleyball and basketball night at Lethbridge College. There is free admission for junior and senior high school students and chaperones, games for prizes, great swag and the chance to win one of four Kodiaks’ summer sports camp passes. Street Team

Our students are our greatest ambassadors. That’s why each spring, we look for students who are heading home for the summer to try out for the Lethbridge College Street Team. Street Team is a program designed for students to promote their program and student experience to their hometown school – and get paid. As part of the Street Team, students present in their hometown about what they love about Lethbridge College.
