Our students are resilient. They have the determination, grit and education needed to make a positive impact in our world. They are problem solvers, entrepreneurs, risk-takers, innovators and - let’s not forget - our future workforce. They are ready to rise.
But now, like people across the region and around the world, our students are struggling as they face financial hurdles and mental health and wellness challenges.
Now more than ever, our students need an investment in their education. Lethbridge College’s Ready to Rise $1 million campaign goal will allow us the ability to address our students’ most pressing needs, including mental health and wellness resources and financial funding.
Your investment will provide a lifeline to our students.
Here are two ways you can help
Give to the Ready to Rise Fund
Ensure that a student’s education will not suffer because of their financial status. This fund will give students a financial hand up in the form of bursaries, student awards and scholarships. Although we have already allocated emergency funds to student support, the need for additional funding is imminent as students will continue to face challenging times beyond the initial impact of any crisis.
Give to the Respond and Rise Initiative
Help expand our care capacity to meet our students’ demand for mental health and wellness resources. Your gift will provide proactive care, ensuring our students leave Lethbridge College equipped with the skills needed to respond to adversity. Together, we can help students build their resiliency in times of global crisis and local ambiguity.
