WTT-1104 Canadian Electrical Code and Blueprint Reading - 3.00 credits

WTT-1104  Canadian Electrical Code and Blueprint Reading  (3 Credits)  An introduction to the interpretation and application of the Canadian Electrical Code (CEC) standards to ensure that all electrical installations provide for the safety of people and the protection of property. Interpretation of blueprints and electrical diagrams will also be covered. Students who have successfully completed this course, in addition to WTT1100 and WTT1103, will have the equivalent of the Alberta Apprenticeship and Industry Training 1st Year Technical Training and will be eligible to write the Period One Electrician Provincial Exam.
