This course provides an introduction to integrative therapeutic modalities including: conventional (i.e., allopathic), alternative and complementary therapies used in health care and the pathophysiologic, psychologic, energetic, and spiritual basis for these therapies. The nurse's role in promoting quality of life through appropriate use of various treatment modalities and dealing with implications and effects is explored. Instruction (3.0). Equivalent to: NSG-290.
