A study of calculus which covers both differentiation and integration. Topics include a review of limits, an intro into complex numbers, the definition of derivative, differentiation rules, derivative applications, and integration as area, the fundamental theorem of calculus, techniques of integration, partial fraction decomposition, integration applications, methods of approximating definite integrals and elementary first order differential equations. Students are expected to have a basic understanding of the geometry of calculus, the idea of limit, slope and area under a curve. Not available for supplemental. Instruction (4.0).
