TRA-1131 Introduction to the Trades (3 Credits) As an introductory course, students will explore and experience 12 trades including plumber, welder, carpenter, electrician, power line technician, wind turbine technician, automotive technician, heavy equipment technician, agricultural heavy equipment technician, parts technician, and chef and baker. Students will participate in both online knowledge-based work complemented with a hands-on component to develop key skills in each specific trade. This course will develop students' appreciation for trades and give them a better understanding of their own aptitude and interest. Not available for supplemental.
