PNR-2252 Nursing Foundations and Professionalism - 3.00 credits

PNR-2252  Nursing Foundations and Professionalism  (3 Credits)  A review of the professional role and scope of the practical nurse within the Canadian health care system. Leadership, collaborative practice, legal aspects of care, and ethical decision making will be reviewed. The skill of critical thinking will be explored including the application of the nursing process. An introduction to the Collaborative Partnership Approach to Care model will be included.
