PCD-1115  Emergency Vehicle Operations  (1.5 Credits)  This emergency vehicle operations course is provided to cadets and focuses on the fundamentals of vehicle mechanics, vehicle dynamics, braking procedures, collision avoidance and emergency response driving techniques. In addition to policy and procedures for pursuit driving, cadets are instructed on the duties, responsibilities and liabilities associated with the safe handling and operation of an emergency vehicle. This course combines classroom theory with practical applications to provide cadets with the legal and technical skills necessary for the appropriate handling of emergency vehicles.
