Writing for Children and Young Adults

ENG-1185  Writing for Children and Young Adults  (3 Credits)  This writing course may appeal to any would-be-writer in the greater community who wishes to take a three-credit course in creative writing for children and young adults. The focus is on writing traditional literature (folktales, myths, fables, legends and hero tales, folk epics), alphabet/counting books, wordless books, picture books, light verse, juvenile and young adult fiction and non-fiction. In order to be successful in this course, students should have completed Grade 12 English or equivalent. Not available for supplemental.Instruction (3.0)Equivalent to ENG-185.
