Leadership Communication Skills

COM-1158  Leadership Communication Skills  (1.5 Credits)  This course will provide learners an opportunity to explore their personal communication style and to develop the interpersonal skills needed for effective relationships in the workplace. The importance of understanding group dynamics, leadership styles, conflict resolution strategies, and team development models will be reinforced using business scenarios. Learners will also gain knowledge on how to facilitate a successful meeting, as well as prepare for behaviour descriptive interview questions. Each learner will be exposed to public speaking by doing an individual presentation to their peers.Instruction (3.0)Equivalent to COM-158.
