CJP-2293  Organizational Awareness in Public Safety  (3 Credits)  An investigation of police culture and subculture, competencies required for employment and positive relationships between police and the community. Topics include police competencies, professional portfolios, and relationships within the workplace. Gender and human rights issues in the workplace are explored in relation to these topics.
