BUS-2298  Human Resource Management  (3 Credits)  A comprehensive study of techniques and activities utilized in acquiring, developing and maintaining a highly effective workforce. Topics include designing and analyzing jobs; human resource planning; recruitment and selection; orientation and training; career development; performance appraisal; financial compensation; employee benefits and services; and occupational health and safety. Topics are discussed in light of various environmental challenges such as government policies, demographic trends, and organizational trends.
