Muneer Nazam is a student representative on the Board of Governors for the 2022-23 academic year. An international student from India, Nazam is in his second year of the General Arts and Science - Psychology and Sociology program and is also President of the Lethbridge College Students’ Association (LCSA).

After working as an LCSA student representative during the 2021-22 academic year, Nazam was motivated to do more for his community. As LCSA President, he wants to use the knowledge he acquired as a student rep to make life better for Lethbridge College’s students. He is interested in student advocacy, and feels being a part of the LCSA is an effective way to express students concerns to college administration.

Nazam’s goals for the 2022-23 academic year include connecting with more students and helping them however he can. His main focus is finding ways to support students who are dealing with mental health issues and organizing events that provide students with tools to deal with mental health issues and bring people together. Outside of college, Nazam’s hobbies include creating videos and capturing pictures.
