Troy Reeb Internship recipient announced

Lethbridge College has chosen this year’s recipient of the Troy Reeb Internship for its Digital Communications and Media program. Stephanie Savage, a first-year Digital Communications and Media student, will spend 10 days later this month immersed in the world of broadcast and journalism at some of the top newsrooms in the country. Troy Reeb, a 1988 Broadcast Journalism alumnus and 2003 Distinguished Alumni recipient, is Corus Entertainment’s senior vice president, News Radio and Station Operations. During the all-expenses-paid internship, which will take place later this spring, Savage will spend time with the teams at Globalnews.ca, Global Toronto and News-Talk Radio AM640. She’ll also have the opportunity to intern with Global’s national morning show before moving onto Parliament Hill and the Ottawa bureau of Global National.
