Ag, Forestry and industry partners visit campus

Ag Forestry and industry partners

Lethbridge College welcomed industry partners and officials from Alberta Agriculture and Forestry for a full day May 18 in the region and on campus. This is a follow up to a visit Kenny Corscadden, Dennis Sheppard and Sandra Dufresne made to food and bio-industrial processing facilities in central Alberta earlier in the year. Board members from the Plant Protein Alliance of Alberta joined the tour as they begin learning more about the food processing industry in southern Alberta and how it connects with the Protein Industries Canada supercluster. The project was chosen to receive a share of $950 million under the Innovation Superclusters Initiative.
