Research Methods, Management in Justice Organizations, Criminology, Correctional Classification and Assessment, Correctional Casework and Counselling, and Correctional Practice.
Ibrahim worked for Alberta Justice and Solicitor General, Correctional Services Division, for 11 years as a correctional, probation, and senior probation officer.
His research interests include policing, racialization, racial profiling, youth and gangs, corrections, and (in)justice in the criminal justice system.
Education
Ibrahim Turay holds a Bachelor of Art in Sociology, with a concentration in Criminology, Deviance and Social Control, from the University of Calgary, and a Master of Arts in Criminal Justice from the University of Alberta. Ibrahim is currently working on his PhD in Cultural, Social and Political Thought at the University of Lethbridge.
