PSY-2277  Psycholog of Addictions  (3 Credits)  An in-depth exploration into the neurobiological underpinnings and psychological theories underlying substance use disorders (SUDs). Exploration of the complex interaction between biological, psychological, social, and environmental factors contributing to compulsive and addictive behaviours to gain a nuanced understanding of the mechanisms of addiction, treatment modalities and frameworks, and the psychological impact on individuals, families and society.
